Egyptian women's solicitation of information via news mobile apps and their relationship with awareness of economic problems

Abstract

The Media engaged in an important social role in the transmission of news and information in an era of technological progress, intellectual interaction and media impact in a world experiencing an unprecedented revolution in communication technology that has accelerated the flow of information through news phone applications in its different forms of economic and social news, reports and information in various fields make it an essential source of information for users.
Economic awareness means the conceptual framework of economic values that lead to a proper understanding of Egyptian women's economic realities in order to guide their economic behaviour to the desired path; Their economic practices become acceptable in economic respects, maximizing economic resources, participating in economic regulation and pursuing public and private economic objectives. Today ' development has become an eye imposition; We should have some information and skills that confirm positive trends in economic spheres; To participate, interact, produce, save and consume rationally, and make rational economic decisions he considers, the problem of the study can be identified in the following main question: What does the Egyptian Mirror's solicitation of information via cellphone news apps relate to awareness of economic problems?
Research Objectives:
Determine the level of research on economic problems via news mobile apps.
Recognize the motivations and behaviours of using conversations for news mobile apps and monitor the most important factors influencing the search for information about economic problems via mobile news apps.
Type and method of research: The descriptive study was based on the media survey curriculum.
Society and Sample Research: The Egyptian women's study community is 18-40 years old. The sample research in a deliberate sample of interviews of users of news mobile applications was to follow up on the economic problems of 18-40 years, which number (400) women.
Study tools: The study relied on the questionnaire form as one of the data collection tools under the survey methodology for collecting the study's data, and the questionnaire was applied to a deliberate sample of 400 individual researchers.
The theory used for the research:
In its theoretical framework and the construction of its hypotheses, the research relies on the approach: seeking information.
The most important findings of the study were:
1) The results of the study confirmed the high rates of research use of news phone applications in obtaining economic information, and the results demonstrated a correlation between the level of Egyptian women's solicitation of economic information via news mobile applications and their level of awareness.
2) The results showed that the majority of the interviews relied on the phone's news applications to solicit economic information.
3) The results of the study confirmed that the types of news mobile apps favored by the research for economic information application "Day Seven" by percentage (58%), followed by Google News in second place by a percentage (32%), "Egyptian Today" in third place by a percentage (28%), followed by "Cairo 24" in fourth place by a percentage (26%), then "homeland" is in fifth place by a percentage of (21%), followed by "Misrawi" in sixth place by a percentage (19%), and "Pulse" in seventh place by a percentage (13%).
