About Journal

The Arab Journal for Media and Communication Research (AJMCR) is the journal of the Faculty of Mass Communication. AJMCR was founded in 2013 and published quarterly online and in print at the Ahram Canadian University in Cairo, Egypt.

We accept submissions of Arabic and English academic papers addressing any aspect of media and communication in the Arab world or globally.

AJMCR’s website is part of the Egyptian Journals System established by the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB). Therefore, the AJMCR’s website is open access for all researchers subscribed in the EKB. Also, the journal is listed in Dar Al-Manzuma, the largest Arab database specialized in research and academic fields. Additionally, AJMCR is now indexed in the Clarivate's Web of Science.

Each season, we announce an issue’s call for papers on the Facebook page of the Communication Research & Training Center (CRTC): https://www.facebook.com/CRTCACU/. The center is established by the faculty, and it is responsible for the marketing of the journal. Also, we regularly announce the publishing of new issues on the CRTC’s Facebook page.
