Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process:

All research papers are subject to peer review and are expected to meet standards of academic excellence. If approved by the editor, submissions will be considered by peer-reviewers, whose identities will remain anonymous to the authors.

All research papers are judged based on significance, originality, appropriateness of subject matter and clarity of presentation. The decision regarding acceptance or rejection of a research the responsibility of the editorial board and is based on the recommendations of the reviewers (peer-reviewing process).

Peer-reviewed articles are always double-blind refereed. Anonymity is accorded to both authors and referees. On the journal’s website, the author can suggest the names and e-mail addresses of at least 5 potential referees. Note that the editor retains the sole right to decide whether or not the suggested reviewers are used.

Responsibilities of Reviewers:

Reviewers are expected to assist the quality of published content by reviewing objectively and within the agreed-upon time. Reviewers must maintain the confidentiality of any material provided by the authors or editors. As AJMCR follows a double-blind policy for review, should the reviewer identify any possible conflicts of interest, they must immediately share this information with the editor. Should the reviewer suspect plagiarism or any other ethical violation, they must immediately inform the editor.
