Guide for Authors

  1. Submission Guidelines:

We are only able to accept articles submitted electronically. All articles should be submitted as a Word file. Please ensure that your submission is anonymized and append a word count - inclusive of abstract, references, appendices, and all notes. We do not accept submissions of over 7,500 words. Should you submit an article above the word count, you will be requested to revise, resubmit, or you will pay extra fees.

Research paper should be submitted by one of the authors of the manuscript through the online Manuscript Tracking System (MTS) on the journal’s website (https://jkom.journals.ekb.eg/author?_action=submit). Note that the author who is going to submit the article should first register on the website in order to access the submitting section on the website.

Only Word (.doc, .docx) files can be submitted through the MTS. The submitting author takes responsibility for the manuscript during submission and peer review. Also, the author can contact the editorial team via email: ajmcr@acu.edu.eg for support.

The review process is often lengthy and is likely to take at least two months. Please be patient and do not inquire about the progress of your article until after that time has elapsed.

In case of the acceptance of the publication of a paper, the researcher will be notified with an official email. In case of the paper’s acceptance with small modifications, the researcher should apply the amendments within 10 days after its reception; in case of any delay, the journal will not be held responsible to publish the paper in its due date. In case of the paper’s acceptance with vital modifications, the researcher should do apply the amendments within 14 days after its reception.

The following submission rules are obligatory in order to get your article published in AJMCR:

  • The title of the paper –it’s main and sub-titles- should not exceed 20 words.

  • The paper should include an abstract of not more than 250 words, in both English and Arabic, and it should not include any graphics or tables.

  • The title and the name of the researcher and his academic degree should be written on the cover page.

  • The research should be attached with a biography not more than 120 words.

  • References and end notes – should be written at the end of the research paper in the bibliography using the “APA” style.

 Language:

Research papers can be written in Arabic or English in a clear and concise manner. Reviewers are not expected to correct grammatical errors and any deficiency in this area may detract from the scientific content of the paper and result in acceptance delays or rejection.

Referees:

Please submit the names and e-mail addresses of at least 5 potential referees when asked on the MTS system (optional). Note that the editor retains the sole right to decide whether or not the suggested reviewers are used.

Fees for Printing and Publications:

The fees for publication and printing –7500 words including tables and graphics and endnotes is 800 EGP for Egyptians living in Egypt and $500 for Egyptians living abroad and foreigners.

The researcher will pay an extra amount of L.E. 25 for Egyptians and $5 for Egyptians abroad and foreigners for each additional 250 words which is more than the allowed for the entire research paper.
The researcher will pay 300 EGP. for reviweing (For Egyptians) before the revoweing proccess and 50 $  (For Non-Egyptians), the remaining amount will be payed after accepatnce.

Responsibilities of Authors:

Authors are responsible for the originality of the research they submit and must certify that their research papers have not been submitted or published elsewhere.

Any reproduced components must be appropriately cited using the “APA” style and necessary permissions must be obtained. Any potential conflicts of interest must be declared to editors upon submission.
