Lifestyle journalism on Arab and foreign digital platforms: Critical analytical vision

Abstract

This study aims to attempt to monitor, describe and analyze the most important recent trends in the field of research and studies of lifestyle content in digital journalism, to identify the topics studied and their methodological aspects, and to identify topics that require further research attention.
This research belongs to descriptive research and relies on the second-level analysis approach, Meta Analysis, by analyzing recent research trends in the field of studies of lifestyle content in digital journalism, allowing for monitoring developments and paths in the visions and ideas of researchers in this field by relying on quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. In interpreting the results. The study recommended some suggestions, including increasing interest in research that deals with audience preferences and trends toward lifestyle content and readability research, especially in light of the multiplicity of content delivery platforms (amateurs and influencers on social media sites), which requires constantly identifying the audience’s preferences in terms of the form of the content and the characteristics of the communicator.
