The integration between experimental research and other approaches is highlighted in a complementary way, concerning the use of the experimental approach in exploring the media or communication phenomenon. this is also related to the use of discussion groups or in-depth interviews as a complementary tool to discuss and generalize the results of experimental research, and the use of qualitative research tools in an exploratory study and then complementing it with experimental research that focuses on hypotheses. that measure the relationship causation.
