The effects of dramatic tourism on the Possible motives and behaviors of the Egyptian public planned to visit domestic tourism destinations

Abstract

The study aimed to reveal the effects of dramatic tourism on the Possible motives and behaviors of the Egyptian public planned to visit domestic tourist destinations. The study was based on descriptive studies, which used the survey methodology based on identification as a tool for collecting data from a multi-stage sample according to the "MONTE CARLO" simulation. The sample of the study included a sample of 667 public researchers. The study concluded several findings, the most important of which: the high percentage of viewers in the Egyptian audience for Egyptian television drama with medium time intensity; Pleasure and amusement are at the forefront of viewing, while the forefront of not watching is not having enough time to watch, Egyptian drama also has the ability to attract Egyptian audiences to tourist places that they watch in television series. The image of tourist places was the most important attraction. The results also varied around the concept of dramatic tourism; This reflected the degree of "high" motivation towards visiting Egyptian tourist places they had seen with television series, and in a related framework the results of modeling structural equations (SEM) is of great importance to the change of personal norms on the intention of the Egyptian public to visit domestic tourist destinations, followed by the change of attitudes towards dramatic tourism, the change of perceived behavioral control, the possible motivation to visit indoor tourist destinations and, finally, the intensity of exposure to Egyptian television series.
