Ethics and Codes of Conduct for Employee Using Social Networks in Workplace : Qualitative Study

Abstract

With the growth and prosperity of social media, various organizations and bodies should develop communication strategies through which they can properly benefit from them, as well as establish regulations frameworks that govern the use of them by employees at work.
 
Therefore, this study attempts to identify the ethical and organizational frameworks that govern the use of social media by workers in different organizations and institutions in the workplace and formulate these frameworks in the form of an organizational code of conduct that different bodies can benefit from in strengthening the efficiency of organizational communication and labor relations in the organization, in addition to ensuring the best representation. This is in addition to revealing the opinions and attitudes of public relations and human resources management practioners in the various elements of this blog, by applying to a sample of Egyptian companies operating in the service sector.
