Abstract

Social media plays an important role in disseminating information and news to the public, and it is through influencers that information can be shared faster and in a wider range.
The problem of the study can be viewed from another dimension, which is the seriousness of the role that influencers play through social networking sites, through their ability to prioritize the Egyptian public with community issues and their role in shaping their awareness of these issues, and to what extent this corresponds to the real reality; Which appeared to the researcher in the previous literature, which focused on the motives of influencers related to bringing advertisements, seeking fame and increasing the number of followers, without clearly paying attention to professional and career motives.
From this point of view, the problem of the study can be crystallized in identifying the Egyptian public's attitudes towards the sarcastic videos of influencers on social networks and their role in addressing the issues of Egyptian society.
The most important results of the study are that the respondents emphasized the importance of releasing sarcastic videos from correct information and not resorting to personal judgments. The respondents' confidence in these influencers increases the more they are aware of the truth of the issues they discuss in their sarcastic videos.
