The relation between the use of social networking and community participation among Saudi Universities female students

Abstract

In light of the increasing use of various social networks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - in particular - by the group of youth active at the societal level .this deceptive study aimed to  identify level of participation of Saudi Universities female students as community participation, this by studying the relation between use students for social media networks and level of their community participation, also identify the relation between social trust of students in the others, in sites of organizations and establishments of society on these networks and level of their community participation, also the study is studied generally trend of students toward the community participation, the study depend on the survey approach and the questionnaire tool, the study sample represent in the cluster random sample which include (433) student.
the study is concluded to number of results, the most important are:
-  Rate of using of students to social media networks came with close ratios, Snap Chat application came at the top.  
-  The trend of students toward the community participation was high positive trend,
-  The study has indicated to existence of simple direct relation has statically significance between rate of using social media networks by Universities students and their community participation.
- The study proved existence of simple direct relation has statically significance between scale of social trust of students in the others and in sites of organizations and platforms of society and level of their community participation through it,
