Lately there has been a large amount of cybercrimes shown in the Egyptian drama both in its movies and series, and it became the main blot in a large amount of this dramas which is reflecting the increased ratio of this kind of crimes in our society.Nevertheless there are not lots of Arabic studies that relates between these new crimes and how it is screened on our Egyptian movies and drama series, for this reason the problem of this study was the monitoring of the media cybercrimes in the Egyptian Drama during the period from 2016 till 2020. The researcher used the semiotic theory, and a purposive sample was chosen, it was the Egyptian drama that dealt with cybercrimes, a purposive sample was chosen because the researcher noticed that the beginning of the emergence of the cybercrimes in the Egyptian drama was in the year 2016 until the high season of the holy month of Ramadan 2020. The most important results of this study were: 1-the main characters who committed the cybercrimes in this sample were mainly males whereas the ratio of females committing this kind of crimes is less than males. 2-there was a variety of cybercrimes screening in this study sample, emotional and material blackmailing came first, secondly was the espionage and snooping, thirdly came the infidelity via the internet. 3-most of the movies and drama series in this sample didn’t clarify or show the details of how these cybercrimes are committed, only a small amount of these movies and series showed some technical details. 4- the movies and drama series in this sample showed that there were penalties as consequences regarding committing a cybercrime, although these were very harsh penalties, it was not legal ones, it tended to be a divine justice. 5-very little of the movies and drama series in this sample showed that there are laws that punishes whoever committed these cybercrimes, but the majority of these movies and drama series there was no indication that these laws existed. 6-most of the victims of the cybercrimes in the movies and drama series in this sample were legal persons whereas there was a very little ratio of the financial and economical associations presented as victims of these crimes, and this is maybe due to the targeting of such associations is more complicated than hacking the mobile phones or lab tops of the legal persons. 7-the results of this study show that there is an invitation to sympathize with the criminals who commit cybercrimes in most of the movies and drama series in this analytical study, this is in more than half of the ratio of the cybercrimes committed in this sample. 8-Egyptian drams didn’t show specific formal features for the criminals who committed cybercrimes in most of the movies and drama series in this sample. 9-the victims of the cybercrimes in this sample are males more than the females in a slight ratio, and maybe this is because Egyptian drama relay most on men as heroes whereas women as heroines take the second part. 10-the dramas in this analytical study centered on showing the business men and women as the main victims of the cybercrimes with a large ratio. 11-most of the movies and drama series in this sample do not show sympathy with the victims of the cybercrimes and this in a large ratio of this sample. 12- the movies and drama series in this sample show that the reasons why one could be a victim to the cybercrimes is that one could be deceived or naïve, and in the third place comes the unawareness of technology.
