The relationship between the quality of educational performance and the use of new technological applications in the field of teaching technological applications in the faculties and departments of Mass Communication in Egypt

Abstract

It is necessary to work on changing teaching methods and curriculums for all universities and institutes specialized in the field of media to achieve the desired goals by using modern technological means and applications and benefiting from modern technologies and methods that help in delivering information in a simple and easy way to the student and in Forms and formulas that are completely different from what the student is accustomed to in the traditional educational means, which contributes to increasing the student’s ability to become familiar with all aspects of the subjects and curricula assigned to him, and creates a strong interaction between the student and teacher during the lecture, which contributes to raising the efficiency and effectiveness of the educational process
The problem of the research is that it seeks to know the impact of the use of modern technological applications on the level of educational performance in the field of teaching electronic curricula in colleges and media departments in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in order to determine the existing pros and cons that can reduce the effectiveness and efficiency of the educational process.
The research reached a set of results, which are:
1- The high level of educational performance using modern technological applications, especially electronic curricula, according to the opinions of the study sample, which is consistent with previous studies that dealt with the issues of using technological courses and curricula in the educational process.
2- The high level of using technological applications in the educational process according to the opinions of the study sample, which is consistent with previous studies that dealt with the issues of using technological applications in the educational process.
3- The low level of obstacles to the use of technological applications in the educational process, according to the opinions of the study sample, which is inconsistent with previous studies that dealt with the obstacles to the use of technological applications in the educational process, which shows the high level of these obstacles.
4- There is a direct, significant correlation between the variable of the level of educational performance using modern technological applications, especially electronic curricula, and the variable of the level of use of technological applications in the educational process, which shows the positive direct impact of the level of use of technological applications in the educational process on the level of educational performance using modern technological applications, especially electronic curricula. , which is consistent with previous studies that dealt with the effect of using technological applications on the level of educational performance of students.
5- There is no difference between the level of educational performance using modern technological applications, especially electronic curricula, at the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University and the Faculty of Mass Communication at Pharos University in Alexandria.
6- That there is no difference between the level of using technological applications in the educational process at the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University and the Faculty of Mass Communication at Pharos University in Alexandria.
