Virtual reality applications in Arab media studies in the fields of marketing, public relations and journalism

Abstract

In the early nineties, virtual reality technology (VR) appeared to revolutionize the world of technology, and with it, three-dimensional cinema and polarized glasses appeared, but it was only a temporary state, and it quickly faded due to people's unwillingness to do so, until we have now reached a stage of reality Living in which we use the full capabilities of virtual reality, in which the user is transferred to immersive alternative realities, in new and exciting ways, as a commercial tool for selling and promoting products, and new media have brought endless challenges towards the concepts, traditions and inherited methods in the media content production system and its delivery to the public digital technologies have changed the way people interact with each other in social networks, virtual worlds, multiplayer game networks, interactive dimensional conferences, etc. The rapid technological development has not provided media producers and recipients along with the opportunity to know, understand, or even feel what is going on. in places very far from them, but also enabling them to interact with and integrate with the elements of distant events, by means of a set of developments in the use of Virtual reality in its various forms in the field of media, and the changes it has brought about and will make in media production and the transformation in the ways of narrating events, expressing topics, ideas and feelings, and the consequent complete reconsideration of traditional forms of dealing with all the components of any media work that passes through virtual reality technologies.
The Study ended by suggesting a future vision for teaching the applications of virtual reality technology in the mass communication field. For example, in the journalism field, Ii is important to achieve cooperation between the print press and the digital press to raise the level of the Egyptian press. Also,  Exercising Responsible Freedom in the Online Press and respect for religious and social constants.
