Early Crisis Preparedness for Institutional Communication Workers in the Hajj and Umrah Sector

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the stage of early preparedness for crises facing workers in institutional communication within the Hajj and Umrah sector: an applied study of the opinions of a sample of workers in the Hajj and Umrah sector in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and the questionnaire was used as the main tool for collecting data from a random sample consisting of (100) individuals working in the Hajj and Umrah sector, the results of the study concluded that the role of institutional communication activities in enhancing the mental image of performing Hajj and Umrah rituals in the Ministry was very high in general. The results also showed that the role of effective institutional communication in early crisis preparedness for workers In the Hajj and Umrah sector, it was very high in general, and the importance of institutional communication was very high, which indicates the importance of building institutional communication capabilities in the Hajj and Umrah sector to effectively manage crises, and the necessity of developing advanced communication strategies to achieve the sector’s goals.
 The results also indicate that the challenges facing Institutional communication in this sector require taking actions and measures to enhance readiness and preparedness to effectively confront crises. The study recommended strengthening training and development programs for workers in the field of corporate communication, and enhancing preparedness and readiness for crises by creating emergency plans and precautionary measures to deal with different scenarios, and encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of crisis management with relevant authorities.
